Chap 2 p 27

I led the well drilling tests and other researches, critical
to a flash steam geothermal plant where my employer,
Excel had key interests-a major venture essential to the
electric supply grid of the southwestern states.
Initial surface explorations revealed a potential geothermal
field, one of the largest in the whole Western United States.
In terms of fiscal value, approval by the Department of Energy,
the State of Utah, and Excel would make this project of
enormous economic significance to Cove Fort. It would be a
welcomed opportunity of tax revenues and job prospects for
townsfolk who enthusiastically honored us with a party at the
mayor's ranch weeks before we wrapped up the job and head
home to Los Angeles.
It was a lavish communal gathering feted with mouth-
watering piece of young roasted cow, live western country
music, and traditional square dance, which was congregated
by prominent residents and young good-looking lasses who
livened-up the feast. Such a night of merrymaking, an evening
that would last in my memory.
A beautiful blonde woman abruptly caught my focus and
attention. She was among those youthful long legged women
donned in brown leathery mini-skirts and white cowgirl boots
who were entertaining us with an old western native dance, the Contra.

from the author

This novel is purely a work of fiction. Nevertheless, some of the events mentioned in the story may have already happened and though imaginary characters depicted here rolled around these events, any resemblance to actual names of persons, living or deceased, real events and locales, is wholly coincidental.

Of Passion Play is humbly, my masterpiece.

It is my first book and though I've conceptualized the plot of the story a long time in the past, drawing the ornate first letter and writing the concluding word of the epilogue took almost a year to complete. The initial manuscript was edited, rewritten and re-edited several times for another five months until the final piece is done. But, publication became a standing block, a high wall to scale specially for first-time authors like myself wishing to have this printed. So, I decided to change strategy and transcribe Of Passion Play from traditional paperback format to a version in computerbytes and codes for viewing in the internet. I 've presented here as an overview of the book, excerpts from some exciting chapters which I hope you'll like.
