Chap 2 p 35

"Oh that would be nice Mister...ah, Ted. Good night, call
me anytime. I work at the town hall," she said with a dishy smile.
I can never forget that evening.
That memorable night ended with a warm smile after I
walked her to her house, 2nd street, Ephraim, about a couple
of blocks away from the town hall.
After that first meeting, a short but wonderful relationship
blossomed and I came to visit her few more times at her
home before my tour of duty was completed.
On the night before the last, I phoned her from my motel
room where the other Excel engineers and I were staying and
invited her out to dinner, which she eagerly accepted.
"N-Nicole, hi...t-this is T-Ted."
"Oh, hello. How are you?"
"I'm f-fine, T-thank you. N-Nicole, I am l-leaving
t-tomorrow n-noon f--for L-Los A-Angeles. Can I
i-invite y-you out t-to d-dinner t-tonight?"
"Yes, of course Ted. Jane's Grill is the best here in town.
I'm free by 7:30, pick me up at home, I'll be waiting."
"T-that w-would be g-great. Okay, s-seven t-thirty t-then."
There was a strong sudden sensation that rushed and
created goose bumps on me as I placed the phone receiver
back.

from the author

This novel is purely a work of fiction. Nevertheless, some of the events mentioned in the story may have already happened and though imaginary characters depicted here rolled around these events, any resemblance to actual names of persons, living or deceased, real events and locales, is wholly coincidental.

Of Passion Play is humbly, my masterpiece.

It is my first book and though I've conceptualized the plot of the story a long time in the past, drawing the ornate first letter and writing the concluding word of the epilogue took almost a year to complete. The initial manuscript was edited, rewritten and re-edited several times for another five months until the final piece is done. But, publication became a standing block, a high wall to scale specially for first-time authors like myself wishing to have this printed. So, I decided to change strategy and transcribe Of Passion Play from traditional paperback format to a version in computerbytes and codes for viewing in the internet. I 've presented here as an overview of the book, excerpts from some exciting chapters which I hope you'll like.

Once again, I welcome and thank you ... emmanuel tomas
