The Contra in long line sets is like a Virginia Reel
Dance where instead of just having one active partner,
everybody bopped and skipped to the music of violins
and guitars. There is pride in southwestern states culture
such here in Cove Fort that keeps this dance alive.
The music and the dancing continued.
"Would you like to join the dance, Mr. Doocy?"
"Oh, n-no, p-please Miss G-grant, t-thank y-you."
"Why not?"
"I am n-not r-really of a-a d-dancer."
"Ow, Come on, Mr. Doocy. It is not that hard as you
think. Come I'll teach you how." Then she dragged me
into the dance area.
As soon as we're on the floor, Nicole started to
move her feet and body into sequenced steps, which
I aped together with the whole bunch of other Contra
dancers, skipping and bopping to the tune of the music.
It was such a thrilling animation of olden day's ballroom
dance. I was exhilarated and began to perspire.
The night was crisp with humid air brought by the
summer heat. Temperature was soaring to 90 degrees
Fahrenheit and I was sweating a lot, not by the searing
temperature but rather out of giddiness being alone with
this fetching blonde woman.

from the author
This novel is purely a work of fiction. Nevertheless, some of the events mentioned in the story may have already happened and though imaginary characters depicted here rolled around these events, any resemblance to actual names of persons, living or deceased, real events and locales, is wholly coincidental.
Of Passion Play is humbly, my masterpiece.
It is my first book and though I've conceptualized the plot of the story a long time in the past, drawing the ornate first letter and writing the concluding word of the epilogue took almost a year to complete. The initial manuscript was edited, rewritten and re-edited several times for another five months until the final piece is done. But, publication became a standing block, a high wall to scale specially for first-time authors like myself wishing to have this printed. So, I decided to change strategy and transcribe Of Passion Play from traditional paperback format to a version in computerbytes and codes for viewing in the internet. I 've presented here as an overview of the book, excerpts from some exciting chapters which I hope you'll like.
